Turning Three - January 2016

My baby girl!

On the 16th of January, 2016, you became three years old.

Twas the night of the 15th, while you were sleeping, Aunty Nicola and I decorated the house. We had a few wines and practically vomited pepper peg all over our home. Daddy baked you a cake,  and yes you guessed it, a pepper pig cake (I was most impressed with the outcome). The balloons came with premade holes, which of course was great. We used a substantial amount of wrapping paper and wrapped up your dolls house so it would sneakily resemble...a dolls house with paper on it and no one thought to pull the masterpiece of a cake, complete with icing out of the freezer.

Excitedly I get up to your "I need to wee wee"at 5-something a.m, despite the demand I rise before any other living creature, it brings back all of those magical memories for me of when I was young and my mum loved me ;p

You see your cleverly wrapped present, you say "look a house", I then try my hardest to instil some mystery to the house shaped present.
You get dressed and decide on your one size too big elsa dress, topped with your elegant blue rubber elsa crown
You love the decor and your excitedly impressed little face is the cutest thing EVER!
You can't take it anymore, we have been waiting for tim and sarah to arrive so you can unwrap your presents as one house was a resident at their place for about two months, but when you have been awake since 5am four hours is a looooong time.
You upon the house shape present, and yes it is indeed a house.
You are happy as Larry and Daddy plays with you and your new dollys (this is pretty cute and Bryce is only slightly inappropriate)
We make pancakes
Tim and Sarah arrive
We eat a deviously breakfast on pancakes, banana, facon (fake bacon) and maple syrup.
We cheers and take photos
YOU GET TO OPEN YOUR PRESENTS!!!
You are spoilt, absolutely spoilt. Sarah bought enough presents to please a child by herself.... so did I and there is only one of you!

Us ladies end up having a spontaneous waxing party while you sleep and then we get ready in the last 15minutes for our afternoon pepper pig birthday party festivities.
Peppa pig is frozen, and upon thawing our droplets of dark pink are appearing all over her face...peppa pig is sick. Peppa pig will require an immense amount of dabbing.

We make food, pack the car full of seven humans and an insane amount of food and peppa pig paraphernalia. We head to Wynnum for the 'byo party' shindig. Where we hang out with your granddad, granny Dale, Nana, Diesel. Shawn and Shari, Tim and Sarah, Nicola and your sweet sweet parents. You swim, we eat way to much, we drink a fair amount, we sit around the fire (yes a fire in summer, in Brisbane) and before we know it, its 8pm you are asking to go to bed and we still haven't done the cake! WHOOPS! Out comes the cake we sing, we blow out candles, and pop you on the couch to fall asleep watching T.v....you don't, Sarah does, and you lovingly stoke her head while she sleeps next to you then proceed to stay awake right until we get home at 11.30pm. You certainly made the most of your Birthday little one :)
