Charli and I spent the day with Nana and diesel today. We had delicous homemade veggie soup and Chari had placemat. Little bear was partaking in some much loved tummy time on the mat and this little one was really trying to make a move for it, Lifting her bum in the air following with a press up. This is the beginning of the end of my immobile little baby.

First Day - Yesterday
We were leaving to take Clare to her first day of work, we opened the front door to two wolves on the porch... (they are supposed to be on the back porch...with a fence around them).
Charli and I had lunch with Grandad, and little bear practiced her chewing while we ate. Not long now and this little child will be eating much more than just boobs.

Pyjamas
Today was Clare's last day of freedom so Charli and I had a sympathy sleep in for her and spent the majority of the day in our pajamas. It was was pretty lovely! I must say, winter and warmth is a fantastic combination. Once we were all dressed we ventured into the outside world with grocery shopping and an almighty dog walk. Yes, sometimes we are incredibly exciting.

Bear In Her Chair
DFO called to us today, so naturally off we went. I couldn't believe how cheap things were. Clare got herself some bargains and Charli got herself some future clothes. After being a trooper for much of our trip Charli decided she needed a break. I found a comfy couch and fed Charli...to sleep while Clare kept herself entertained with retail therapy.
When we arrived home, we found some thing pretty darn exciting outside our front door. Little bears highchair is here and she doesn't seem so little anymore =(

Saucey
Us three girls went for one incredible tiki tour (thanks navman) to have coffee with Sarah. Charli bear was 'chatting' away very loudly in Sarahs arms and after we went for Dinner with Charli's grandaddy. A little some one put her hands in cheese sauce and made a mess all over the table cloth (no Mum, it wasn't me).

Super Moon
What a lazy Sunday for Little Bear with a 10.30-11am wake up! (I'm not complaining). It must of been all of that being gorgeous with of course nothing to do with the series of late nights.
Charli has been waking up very happy lately just lying in bed chatting away to herself.
It's so nice having cuddles with my wee one in the morning, of course she mainly just wants to eat me, but it still makes my heart swell.
Charli got to have lots of cuddles and playtime with her Daddy today while I domesticated myself and got acquainted with handsome. I made my own almond milk, almond butter, almond flour, two smoothies and a curry gravy. I am head over heels!
When I managed to drag myself away from the blender our wolf pack, packed in the car and we went down to the water front tonight for a walk in the light of the super moon. There were cameras and their people everywhere carefully snapping away at the gorgeous light in the sky.

Side Flop
Charli Mc Farli slept in this morning which was lovely, we then decided to try out the dog park. Two broken muzzles later we decided the dog park wasn't fun and went out for Sushi instead.
Charli sat unaided for many minutes with the occasional side flop and was quite chuffed with her little self (as was her Mama). I cannot believe how quickly she is growing and how fast time is going.
We had our Timo over for Dinner, and little bear decided that hanging out with Tim was much more interesting than going to bed (I seem to be writing these words a lot lately).

Little Spoon
Today Charli bear and I played taxi and got Clare a job and to a rugby game =) Pretty good effort I say. Little bear however didn't like the ride home very much and sounded like a rouge pterodactyl in the back seat. We had to stop for some boobachino once or twice.
I think a little someone might (I stress the might as we have been tricked before) have some teeth soon! I am fairly certain I saw some white gums today along with rosie cheeks, drooling, nomming and acting like a small dinosaur. However this could also just be 5 month old Charli...we never know.
Clare changed Charli bears nappy for the first time. Charli blew an excessive amount of raspberries, threw up a gazzilion times and Handsome created magical green goodness once more.

Handsome
Today was the day Handsome (my new blender) was christined. It was a beautiful moment of green smoothie making, yet Charli didn't like it one bit!
We went to yoga for the first time in a long long time and it was great, though my balance hasn't improved much!
I had a photoshoot in the afternoon, having a live in Aunty is fantastic! Clare came along and watched over Charli bear while I shot a lovely little family. Little bear slept the whole time.
Charli and I took Clare to Capalaba to get a few things, we had a bit of a whoopsie in tiny pants (yet this was nothing compared to the dog fart I can smell as I type this). Multi tasking really has become second nature, breastfeeding while grocery shopping - I never thought I'd be so capable.

New Farm, New Lady
Blow me down and call me stacey! We had a marvelous sleep last night, my Charli only woke three times opposed to the previous nights steller seven.
I had a long overdue lady appointment with a fellow darling friend (I was starting to feel like a yeti, thank goodness it's winter!). While we did our thing Charli and her little one were just a bit cute laying on a mat looking at each other!
With such a lovely day and a sleeping baby in the car, Clare, Charli and I headed to New Farm for lunch and then to the park to chill by the river with the most delicious coffee I have had in a long time. They had run out of Decaf so a half strength latte it was and Little bear didn't notice a thing =)

Cling On
The poor doggies didn't get a walk yesterday. This is the first time this has happened and trust me and wont be happening again! They had so much energy I had no choice but to pop Charli in the ergo strap two sled pulling dogs together and get tugged around the neighborhood.
Little Charli Mc Farli bear! Goodness me, we went to a cafe before Mum's group (first time since April) to show a friend some photos, While we were talking little bears bottom lip kept dropping and her eyes welled up..we were only saying nice things, I promise! In end Charli cracked it and has been grizzly all day...Just when you think you know what you are doing, your baby throws you a curve ball of reality and reminds you that no! No you really don't have a clue how to work your baby sometimes. Now my grumpy baby isn't all bad, during the times Charli wasn't upset, she was laughing her little pants off, and we still havn't had a single tear, ever!

Seperation
Bryce had the day off today and by golly it was delightful =)
We went to stones corner for lunch and we were treated to Sushi train (Charli got sushi flavoured milk) and of course we couldn't go without coffee. We then spent the rest of the day and most of the night with great some company at the boat club.
Lately little bear has been a little off, grizzling when ever I pop her down to play. I had my suspicions about separation anxiety. It wasn't until today that I think I might actually be right. Charli cried at family friend... every time she went near him...that's four times. The poor guy and poor Charli bear she was beside herself!

Happy Five Months!
Baby girl you have been (out) on earth for five months now. Time has flown by even though some days and nights have been long. You have made our lives richer and more colourful in ways that could never of been without you. We love watching you grow, learn and become more you.
You are wonderful!
You are getting so good at sitting upright this last fortnight you have gone from sitting upright by yourself by leaning on your tummy to pretty much being able to sit with very little help
You love sitting up, if you are not straight enough you will grab hold of what ever you can reach and pull yourself straight up.
You like to push up and stand, your feet flat and strong
There have been countless amounts of poo leakages, some have said it's because we are vegetarian, (I'm not sure how accurate this theory is)
Still no rolling over, just on to your side and then you try with all of your might to lift your body over your shoulder
You chew your thumb, and suck your fingers
You laugh lots now, I do my best to make you laugh everyday now you know how

You have recently began making cow like noises when you are excited/want milk/are rocking
You play with your tongue and blow bubbles
You can squeal, giggle, rock back and forth while sitting, laugh, blow raspberries and be awesome

We now have two doggies who love to give you little licks and you just stare at them
You have just started saying lots of 'M' sounds it sounds like 'MUM' or 'mum, mum, mum' but I don't think you know what you are saying
You can sit in a highchair, you think this is pretty cool. We are currently on a quest to find you one
You wear an amber teething necklace
Your sleep spots aka bald patches are quite noticable
You sit on my hip
You have outgrown the infant insert for the Ergo
You play with both of your feet
You have started pulling at your socks
You grab at lots of things now, especially my phone and Daddy's beard
You have big baths
When on your tummy you move your legs and push your bum into the air
You wiggle around on the floor with no pants on and pee where you are not meant to
You are sleeping in your big bed and are no longer swaddled. You love to starfish.
I honestly believe one of your first words may be 'whoops'

Saturday
Just another lovely Saturday with my little family. We ventured out to grab a few things, Bryce wore Charli and we took the doggies for a walk. Little bear does not like being put in her car seat, but she sure loves her Daddy!

Your Baby?
Today Charli and I grabbed a coffee and the lady commented on her hair and then proceeded to ask if Charli was my baby!? Wow, I almost feel the need to be brunette just to fit into my own family! (however after several bad experiences with that, I don't see it happening).
Charli
bear, it seems you have far too much energy to sleep! It is a mission
and a half to get you down for a sleep lately. One minute it seems you
have finally surrounded to sleep, and the next your little eyes fly
open, the raspberries begin, and you lean forward to sit up. Ahhhhh
well, cuddles with the doggies instead.

Sushi Station
Our Clare has a job interview tomorrow, so today we went hunting for classy work clothes.
We had a very late lunch at a Sushi Station and Charli sat in a highchair while we ate beautiful sushi.
Little bear has really started to move. Sitting still or just 'chilling' no longer seems to be an option as well as this lying down is now plain boring!
Charli giggled a lot today on her own accord, like when I got out of the shower, at bryce's face, when I took off her nappy and found poo and of course when I attempted eating her face.
This child rocks my socks.

Lappy
Our little bear accompanied me to the hairdresser today. All the ladies fluttered around my wee cherub, cooing and having turns at holding her. Once Charli was back in my arms she had some food and fell straight to sleep just in time for my hair cut. The ladies were most impressed.
When Daddy got home, Charli had the best seat in the house on his shoulders. She was quite happy trying to eat his head, when that got boring/painful for Bryce little bear helped her Daddy on the computer.

Wolf Pack, Packed In
Our long weekend came to an end and while Bryce was working we squeezed two woman, two wolves and a baby into my car and headed down to the foreshore for a stroll. It must have looked hilarious seeing us all tumble out of my little car and pack back in. I know the image in my rear view mirror made me chuckle!
The little darling has been getting her rock on, trying her hardest to sit by herself, moving her knees and sticking her bum up during tummy time. It's almost as if Charli is getting annoyed at not being able to move about as much as she would like, though I am sure at this rate, little bear will be very busy very soon.
While waiting for a coffee today, Charli had her first time sitting in a high chair and was chuffed!
I think it's high time we invested in one, with sitting up being a very popular activity in little bears eyes. My little girl is growing so quickly!

The Night Owl
I had a photoshoot today. I popped Charli down to bed, armed Bryce with a bottle of boob milk and I left. Three(ish) hours later, I came home to Charli who had just woken up and had no idea I was gone. I couldn't beleive how well it worked out... or so I thought. Little Charli bear was wide awake until midnight. Golly gosh I went a little bit crazy, but we got there in the end!

Clarely
Charli bear and I went down to the foreshore to grab a coffee with a fellow Mum & bub and talk photos. There was some house cleaning and we had our first visitors to come and meet the wolf pack.
Charli loves her Aunty Clare, giving her big cheeky smiles whenever their eyes meet.
Clarely (haha) Clare is much more interesting to look at then Mummy and her camera =)

A Looong Day
Today we adopted two doggies (exciting news), went to Tim & Sarah's for a delicious Mexican feast and Charli didn't want to miss out on any fun by sleeping.

Sheppards Delight
Charli, Clare and I went for a stroll into town and down to the waterfront. Watching the sky soften in gorgeous pastels with two lovely ladies and a coffee was certainly a highlight.
While I was taking a photo of Clare and Charli, an Asian man came over, said hello to Clare and then just stood right in the way staring at my two girls, a little awkward moment I must say!
We have something very exciting happening tomorrow, I can't wait to share!

Not The Tippest Of Tops
Little bear wasn't feeling tip top after yesterdays ordeal.
We discovered a new cry and had two, two hour long sleeps. After a massive explosion, I think someone felt a whole lot better.
We went for a weee road trip today to assist our live in lady on her job hunt and then went to Carindale to show her how Australians shop.
Charli bear was an absolute trooper, looking around, taking it all in and nomming my knuckles while I nommed a gorgeous veggie burger at grilled.
** Please note, Bryce blew dry Charli's hair into this incredible style and it has not yet been tamed.

Needles, No Thread
Bryce took the day off work today to come with us to Charli's immunization appointment. I got so angry at the doctor, but I did warn him that would happen. Our poor little darling! I made Bryce hold Charli while I cringed, nearly cried and then went in for the rescue cuddle. I have to say little bear was back to her chatty, raspberry blowing self in no time at all.
It's been a little busy the last few days and I have been slack with photos. Today's (may it be the first and the last) is from my iphone as I forgot my camera. They do say the best camera, is the one you have on you and in this case, one is better than none.

Three's Company
Charli Bear, Clare Bear and I went to Bulimba to meet Marie, little William and Marine for coffee.
Clare had her first taste of Sushi train & Charli tried eating the table (she didn't like it one bit!).
The little darling has started to get her rock on. Sitting on your laps she rocks back and forth, while blowing raspberries and chatting away.
It's so lovely having Clare here with us. I only hope Australia is good to her and she will stay, Charli and I would like it that way.

Aunty Clare Bear
A busy day well spent, inheriting a live in Aunty for Charli Bear.
After cleaning the house for our new guest, we went to visit Charli's little bestie Ella. In peak hour traffic (Not the best idea), little bear and I headed to the Gold Coast to collect our Clare.

Slowly but surely our New Zealand lovelies are moving over, I can't tell you how happy this makes us!

Green Heart & Sleep Spot
We went to the 'Green Heart Fair' in Chermside today with our friends Tim & Sarah. I think I could have stayed for quite a while longer to browse and hunt for goodies while little bear napped in the ergo. However with two males, a 45minute wait for pizza and hot sun we decided to retreat for refreshments and cards. What a lovely Sunday it was.
Here we have proof of Charli's little sleep spot on her head (Photo taken by the darling Bryce).

Goldfish
Charli bear, while you have been having your baths lately, you have been trying your absolute hardest to drink the water. You turn your head to the side mouth opening and closing like a little goldfish. When that doesn't work your wee tongue comes out reaching just that little bit further.
It's a bit cute (and entertaining) but you can just stick to boobie for now my dear.
