Jolly

Charli, her Oma and I had Brunch at cafe cuba today followed by a stroll around a few shops. Charli had several admirers at the cafe, eyeing up the deliciously hairy little bear that is my baby. 

On the way home we swung around to Francis's to pick up her jolly jumper. 

Oh my! What fun this little person had. 

For some reason Charli was a little unsettled tonight and did not want to go to/stay asleep. Maybe it was because we had such wonderful guests over for dinner! So after many attempts at sleeping, it became apparent this sweet slumber was not going to happen. Charli got up for what felt like the millionth time, into the jolly jumper she went with us all fixated on the cuteness. The jumper must have been quite jolly as little bear let out her first full on giggle. The most beautiful sound I have ever heard! Im so glad some very special people got to share that moment with us, but I can't wait for her Daddy to hear the bear chuckle. While I was chatting away and watching you tube clips with Jess & Kyle, Uncle J-Bird was an absolute legend and put Charli to sleep walking around the table a gazillion times! Hi five brother, hi five.

What Are You Up To?

Today we noticed Charli had some strange new moves. While searching for an explanation, Bryce charmingly asked if I had dropped her (I haven't). Little Bear has been trying to lean forward all day (like she is about to tuck in to a roll). In her bouncer or siting on us, she will lean forward starring at her feet. 

'FEET, wow those things are mine!?'

Charli Bear may have laughed for the first time today =D...I was wiggling her legs with enthusiastic noise...but once was enough or maybe I'm just not that funny.

In other news, Bryce and I thought it would be a good idea to save money and play hairdressers ourselves. All I have to say about this (not so smart) idea is, Lady.Gaga.Yellow. Oh thats right, thats why we pay professionals

12th Week On Earth

Today we hit week number twelve! I can't believe how fast all of this precious time has gone. Apparently around this age, wee dots go through a growth/development spurt. Sure enough we had a gorgeous wee fusspot for many parts of the day BUT we also learnt some pretty sweet new tricks. It was hair washing day for me so I put on a pretty spectacular show for Charli who was front row in her bouncer. I must admit I ey I ey I oh'd the socks of her, complete with a rap break down of course. It seems I must be pretty a pretty rad entertainer as someone had nothing but smiles for me.

I noticed Charli just staring at her hands today, it was as if she had never seen them before. What silly billy parents! Her dangly toys have been just out of reach for the poor darling. As soon as I moved one down a notch, pup was desperately trying to work her hand touching, moving and downright whacking the toy, It keep her busy for ages! It really is incredible witnessing this little one grow, learn and just generally be all kinds of awesome! The best part is I get to keep her all to myself! (Well I do have to share a little)
