One Year On - Written in December 2015

Today, just now - I googled my blog and went on to have a read only to discover to my absolute disgust and horror, that it has nearly been an entire year since my last post. Charli just turned two on the blog, now in less than a month my baby will be three. I now have an unnatural weight in my chest and an awkward lump in my throat. How have I not had time to blog? Come on Angela - get it together champ! How have I justified this to myself when it makes me so sad that I have not been doing what I love, writing about and photographing the little lady I love most?

I guess, this is how:

The last whirlwind of a year started with us getting a beautiful brand new car after my little ghettomazda got written off with hail damage, this was a really 'awkward timing' kinda situation and thanks to some wonderful people, life was made a whole lot easier because of them!

Me, on full time Mummy duties to a newly two year old monkey, living mostly as a human duo + Cat with a FIFO Daddy we kept super busy with our daily adventures (and the endless pile of washing of course).

Swimming lessons were loved and then well and truly hated with the most wonderful passion, ultimately ending in no more swimming lessons and a much happier mother daughter unit. (Little does she know, she will be going back, and she WILL love it!) To add to the sheer brilliance of swimming, I somehow managed to leave my 'automatic' lights on at midday and required rescuing once again by Tim.

We went to Boppin babies for a bit of crazy group toddler action and sing songs. Toddler times at the library for more crazy toddler action and "lets try and escape as many times as we can during five little ducks".

Charli had a love/hate relationship with daycare two days a week while I did photo shoots and hours of editing whilst consuming copious amounts of coffee.

We met friends and played, I cooked lots, we went to the gym,We hung out with Aunty Sarah and Tim lots, got baby chinos, went to the park. We had tantrums in the mall and only made mummy cry once.

We got on another plane, Mummy had a breakfast cider and the three of us mosied off back home to New Zealand. I photographed a wedding and some lovely friends and family, we had coffees, ice creams and park trips we had cuddles and friendships and bonding, we had a bloody marvellous time!

Back to Australia, Mr Cole returned to living AND working in Brisbane and we were a human trio + Cat once again. It became apparent, we needed another income and the search began.

Jess & Kyle came over with the most delicious little man Damian, we went to Dreamworld, I broke Jessica's phone (go me), it rained that much it flooded and took Bryce over three hours to get home from his work 15mins away. We laughed, we cried, we pushed our friendship with two small children in one small house but always for the better with Miss Klaassen, always!

Photoshoot for a Charity Auction - Hours of editing

I had three interviews, a test and was officially back to full time employment after two years with hanging with Charli Bear.

Two weeks after starting my new job, we moved house, the weekend after we moved house was the weekend of the Brisbane marathon (I ran 5km instead of the 10km planned due to my short lived trying plan) and Kelsey and Marcus came to stay with us.

Charli's daycare turned in to a place we no longer liked going and we found a family daycare to send Charli to leading to a happy kid with happy parents, best decision ever!

Sarah's Birthday, she thought I was taking her for a colonoscopy - it was just a full body massage followed by lunch, a jug of cider and a wee party at home and the best reaction to a present EVER (Sarah laugh, cried, looked particularly crazy as she unwrapped her Taylor Swift vinyl) We went to a woodfire  pizza joint in town and Charli needed to go the loo and loved the toilet so much, her enjoyment only grew after the next 7 visits, to the point where I thought I might loose my 'poop' in there myself!

Mum came over for her birthday weekend, we threw a surprise party, which actually didn't end up that surprising!

We went on our first overnight boat trip with Miss Charli on Granddad's boat, I - the vegetarian animal lover, learnt to fish and to everyones flabbergastedness loved it. (No fish were killed on my watch). We fed fish, listened to queen, played at the beach and went for joyrides on the "insert word for little boat with motor here". It was really really great! We were rocking for days after and Charli thought it was tops!

Sick with the flu for a week, Mum came over - wine tour, photoshoot, Eve came over, Tim's Birthday, Tim and Daddy flew a plane, I learnt to crochet, photoshoot, Bryce and I had a surprise weekend away at an old Church in the glass house mountains, Bryce's Birthday, Nicola's Birthday, Nana's Birthday, Green heart fair - Peppa pig on stage, photoshoot, Nicola came over to visit, Dreamworld, Lisa, Robert, Kristina and Grace came over, Charli rode a miniature pony at Mount Tamborine and went feed parrots sugar at the polish place. Photo shoot, Sick with the flu for another week, Sarah's hens weekend, Irene came over for a week, Melbourne Cup, Eagle farm markets - Charli rode a pony + would NOT get off the bouncy castle, Nicole and Madison came to visit for two weeks, Taylor swift concert, Work Christmas party, Lollipops play land, Romantic night away at the Gypsy Cottage, Shari's Birthday, Nutcracker Ballet. I have started to read again, and my instagram has also suffered because of this!

LIFE IS BUSY, it's also wonderful and going crazy fast now that I am working again! My Instagram has been updated with memories and for now that might just need to do!
